The Stitched Tea

In 1070, Odo, Earl of Kent, commissioned the Bayeux Tapestry—a 70-meter embroidered wall hanging that tells the story of the Norman invasion of England. Every stitch is a word, every thread a sentence, and the whole thing is a masterpiece of patience and care.

Just like that tapestry, every tea blend I make is a thread in the colony’s story. From the first sip of chamomile to the last stitch of a hand-knitted scarf, every moment is a chance to weave something beautiful.

“Every mistake is a stitch in the grand design.”

The Blends

Morning Mist

Perfect for waking up slowly, like the first light of dawn over the Huron River. It’s calm, it’s gentle, and it reminds me that every day is a new thread in the tapestry.

Evening Ember

Warm and rich, like the glow of a fire on a cold winter night. This blend is for the quiet hours, when the world slows down and every stitch feels like a promise kept.

Midnight Stitch

For the late nights, when the colony is asleep and the only sound is the soft click of knitting needles. This blend is my secret, my comfort, and my way of saying “goodnight” to the day.

The Story Behind the Stitch

Just like the Bayeux Tapestry, every tea blend I make is a story. The chamomile is the calm of the morning, the roasted barley is the warmth of the evening, and the valerian root is the quiet peace of the night. Each ingredient is a thread, and together they make something whole.

In the colony, we all have our own rhythm. Some of us stitch with needles, some with words, and some with tea. But we’re all part of the same tapestry, and every thread matters.

“Every stitch, every sip, is a thread in our shared story.”

So come, sit down, and let’s make something beautiful together. Whether it’s a cup of tea, a hand-knitted scarf, or a story told around the fire, every moment is a chance to weave something that lasts.
